Can you find me a specific watch?
We process a high volume of watches and the watch you are looking for may already be in our system. Please Contact us to check. If we do not have it, we will do our best to source it for you.
How are taxes and import duties handled?
No additional taxes or customs duties are charged for articles shipped within the European Union. The following countries are members of the European Union:

Can I cancel or amend my order?
Depending on the status of your order, it may be possible to cancel an item or request a different size for an item you have already purchased. Please note, you cannot add an item to an existing order. If you need to make any amendments to your order, Contact us as soon as possible.

What payment options do you offer?
For customers who want to purchase and pay at the same time, we offer the following real-time payment methods: Verified by VISA, Mastercard® SecureCode™, American Express, PayPal and Apple Pay. Please note, your payment card provider may charge additional fees.
We also accept payments via Wire/Bank transfer and Crypto Currencies. Please note: Once your order is finalized, a detailed order confirmation form will immediately be made available to you with all bank details for the wire transfer, including Bank Account Number, Bank Name, Order Reference Number, SWIFT/BIC, and IBAN. This order confirmation will also contain a link to a detailed invoice.
The order payment status will show as 'AWAITING PAYMENT' until the funds clear in our account. As soon as the payment is received, an email notification will be sent to you automatically and your order status will change to 'PAID'. Shipment will then be arranged.

What do you do to make sure payments are secure?
Watches World uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt and protect all data you send us over the internet. If SSL is enabled, you will see a padlock at the top of your browser and you can click on this to find out more information about the SSL digital certificate registration.

How are watches shipped, and are they insured in transit?
We ship watches by DHL Express or FEDEX. Insurance for full replacement value is included on all shipments of watches and accessories. A signature is required to complete the delivery of all packages.
Can I get VAT refunded?
VAT cannot be refunded because, as a reseller, our watches are categorized as previously-owned and therefore VAT is not applied to our prices.
How do I know that a watch is authentic?
All our watches are inspected under high-magnification, in exhaustive detail – with attention to every component and materials used in the watch fabrication – and prepared by our manufacturer-accredited watchmakers.
Our experts are trained to spot any indication that a watch might not be authentic and, when the information is available, we also cross-reference our watches against official brand records.

How quickly will I receive my watch?
Depending on the value of the watch, we offer different types of delivery. Standard delivery time is 1-3 working days. Personal collection is also available in one of our locations, Paris, London and Hong Kong.

Why are your prices so competitive?
Watches World uses sophisticated proprietary software to continuously analyze and compare global watch prices. Our algorithms calculate and adjust prices daily allowing us to offer the lowest prices on the market.
What is your return policy?
We hope you will be completely satisfied with your purchase as we work tirelessly to assure the best quality. However, should the product be faulty, please Contact us within 14 days and we will happily replace it or, if not possible in a timely manner, provide a full refund.
All other cases will need to be reviewed individually. Due to the registration process for some of the brands, which is required prior to shipment, we cannot always promise to be able to accept a return. We do however offer a buy-back service for those who may have changed their mind.

Can I leave money on account as credit?
Once you have sold your watch to Watches World you can leave the money on account as a credit against your next purchase or to be paid to you at a later date. This is recorded and issued as a credit note.
Can I sell my watch without box and papers?
You don't need to have the box and papers to sell us your watch, but their absence can affect its value. Please note: We do require the original proof of your purchase.
When and how will I receive the money for sale?
We arrange a wire transfer of the funds into your account within 72 hours of successful receipt and inspection of your watch.

It’s easy. Visit the Sell page and provide as much information as you can about the watch, along with a few pictures. We will respond within 24 hours with additional questions or a preliminary quote for the purchase of your watch, based on the current market and the information you provide.
Once you accept the preliminary quote, we will provide a pre-paid, fully insured shipping label for you to send your watch to us. Upon receipt and inspection of your watch, we will present you with the final price. If our offer is to your satisfaction, we will process the payment to you within 72 hours.
